Big update

So, I keep forgeting to take advantage of my blog. I have big news... I sold something on etsy! Maybe it was just a 2 dollar gift tag.. but I am still very happy. It took a while for me to mail it though, crossing my fingers for good feedback! Anyways I'm going to post all of my new greeting cards that I have ventured into considering I am planning on being an illustrator after four years at MCAD..

This is one I am very proud of. I had mother's day in midn while making it. Hopfully someone on etsy will want it to give to their mommy :-D

This one's my favorite. I drew the picture free hand with that higgins ink stuff (I'm very technical if you haven't noticed) I wanted to write "Eye love you" on the inside but then decided just to leave it blank

Ergh, this one took forever. I cut out all the flowers and arranged them and glued them all seperately.

It is only three by two inches or something like that..
It has a matching pink envelope with a nail polish bottle painting.

This was the first one. I watercolor painted it on water color paper then cut it out to put it on card stock (as with the one right about it).

My Spring Break

So.. I decided to join this whole blog thing. I used to have a xanga but used it more like a diary, this shall be much better. This is going to be used mostly just for my creative endeavors (I'm really liking this spell check.) Anyways... I had some time on my hands over spring break and had just heard about etsy through someone at my boyfriend's church who makes really cool purses. I had just taught myself how to crochet and was loving it. It was a very good break from drawing all the time which is what you have to do before you apply to art schools. I made about a bag a day in the hopes of making some dough, but I dont know if they will actually sell which is a bummer..

Next is something I made for myself because I got a new slider cell phone that i thought needed protection because of the screen being exposed. I decided to paint on it since I have probably been neglecting practicing painting..







Okay.. So i'm not a very good seamstress, but I'm trying! I messed up on my first try of the cell phone thing so I turned it into a coin purse which I need anyways. I put my favorite quote on the back
